Prof. Dr. ASM Zahidur Rahman is a highly experienced and renowned surgeon in Bangladesh, specializing in Laser Proctology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. With over 25 years of surgical expertise, he is recognized as one of the pioneers of Laser Proctology in Bangladesh, successfully performing thousands of minimally invasive procedures for Piles, Fissure, Fistula, Pilonidal Sinus, Hernia, Gallstones, and other complex surgical diseases.
He completed his MBBS from Khulna Medical College and pursued his FCPS in Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). He further advanced his expertise by receiving specialized training in Laparoscopic Surgery and Laser Proctology from India.
Throughout his distinguished career, Prof. Dr. Rahman served as Professor & Head of the Department of Surgery at Shaheed Mansoor Ali Medical College and Hospital, Dhaka, where he also trained and mentored many young surgeons.
